Somemtimes we are pulled away from the outer forms of life and into the depth of our being. This experience, personal and intimate beyond measure, draws us deeper into the spiritual heart, where both tenderness and power awaits. Where love can reveal her mystery.
Once we have been called deeper, we can begin to respond to what is most real in life. To the truth within our own being, to the calling of the soul and to the needs of the world around. With both beauty and sorrow, joy and longing, we can be made whole.
This will be an evening for all. Candlelight, the sound of silence, the intimacy of presence. No pressure to do or say anything. I will share honestly- both of the fear and challenge contained within the human journey and of the mystery and grace given on the spiritual path.
Oh Lord, give me a pure heart and an
Give me the sigh of evening and the tears
On the way to Yourself, first make my self
When I am without self, open the road
from Yourself to me. - Persian Poem, unknown
