Pause Place responds entirely naturally to the moment.
Each person present is free to be themselves.
There is no specific modality or formula. We learn and discover how to live and create from the truth of our own natural being.
If you wish to have a space to deepen and unfold, you are welcome to join us.
You don’t need to have a specific objective in mind.
If you already work with others or have a desire to, Pause Place will give you the grounding and presence necessary.
During our time together you will have the opportunity to get to know a group of others, who are also willing to explore in this unique and intimate way.
Deep connections arise, and continue to nourish beyond the journeys completion.
The beauty and magic of this experience is almost impossible to describe in words.
It has to be felt to be known.
Please note this special announcement. 2025 is the first year that we will be joined by live cello. Deep appreciation and anticipation is held for this group and the beauty that will unfold.
Together in Mystery, Awake in Love
Most Frequently asked questions about Pause Place
What exactly is Pause Place?
The Pause Place Practitioner Training began in 2016 as a journey for those wishing to live and work with the power of love, presence and connection. Part Practitioner Training, part personal journey- it has always been about space, simplicity and human connection.
When Pause Place began, “holding space” in the way it happens now didn’t exist in the same way. It was mainly a training for people wishing to work with others one to one. Now, however, the emphasis is on working with individuals and groups.
What happens during the training?
Pause Place has always been relatively formless in its nature, however, paradoxically it is a highly grounded and boundaried space. There are no specific tools and techniques, but throughout the experience those present learn the energetics of working from the truest part of their being, discovering the power and simplicity of love, presence and connection in every area of their life- both personally and professionally.
The practitioner training includes a series of live and spontaneous meditations and reflections, group practices in circle and time to practice and explore one to one. There is plenty of space for unfolding and allowing- tea breaks and time to rest.
Due to the fact that Pause Place responds directly to the moment, the specific processes the group explore together are often unique to each particular group.
Do I need any experience in order to do Pause Place?
You may be an experienced therapist or space holder or already have an established practice or offering or you might be entirely new to the field. No experience is necessary.
I find it hard to talk in groups. Does this matter?
No, Pause Place is a beautiful place for those nervous in groups as it is quiet enough and gentle enough to allow for every expression. No one is pressurised to say or do anything that they do not want to do. Everyone is excepted exactly as they are and honoured that way. The freedom is to be who you are. Even if you don’t know exactly what that is.
I don’t know if I want to work professionally one on one or with groups. Can I still take part?
Yes
What else can you tell me?
There is no particular person that Pause Place is right for. You could be from any background or profession. You could be lost and at a crossroad. You could be clear about your next step. Pause Place is an opportunity to pause and to step into a container that is both rigorously held and full of mystery. Celebrating both our human and spiritual nature- it is a place that brings the worlds together. Heart achingly simple and tender in its raw honesty. It is a place to unfold and to let go. A place to discover.
Is Pause Place for women only?
No, pause place is for anyone, and everyone.
