NAKED SOUL- A weekend retreat with Pause Place on 2nd and 3rd November

NAKED SOUL

SATURDAY 2nd and SUNDAY 3rd NOVEMBER 2024

Deep rest and Reflection

A weekend retreat with Pause Place

Sculpture by Malvina Hoffman (1885-1966)

It is the soul of things that must be loved. Any other form of loving is simply not enough

And this loving is often silent,
for the nature of the soul is beyond description, beyond words

On the 2nd and 3rd November we will be gathering in the studio in East London for our event Naked Soul.

The priority for this gathering is deep quiet, deep rest and deep listening.

I am hoping it will be dark, so we can flood the space with tea lights. This time, I hope that we can make a mandala of light.

We will begin with our blankets, protecting the soul and the body. I cannot wait to give you your mug. Elio and I are working together to create a beautiful mug for you to take home.

And then we will begin to explore the soul. What it means for the soul to be known, intimately. Not necessary by another. But by life. A dialogue, an intimacy between you and life.

Of course we all do this, we all know this, what it means to be known and felt nakedly. But this relationship with life continues on. We are all taken deeper, if we allow it and if we are open.

Stopping everything and taking time for your soul is one of the most important things that you can do. So that you can really listen and really hear and really respond.

This will be a very safe space for the unfolding of your own soul. You can go at your own pace. You do not have to say a word. Unless you choose. You do not have to be known, unless you choose.

With love,

Katie Abbott
